Eligibility Criteria
Domicile
- Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir
- A valid domicile certificate must be issued on or before 06 January 2026
Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum marks:
- 50% for Open Merit candidates
- 45% for Reserved category candidates
- Candidates with Post-Graduation (50%) or PhD are also eligible

Selection Process
The selection for the JKSSB Accounts Assistant posts will be conducted purely on merit based on:
- Written Examination (OMR-based)
- Objective-type questions
- Medium of examination: English
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Examination & Admit Card
- Exam date and centre details will be notified later
- Admit cards will be available online approximately one week before the exam
- No admit cards will be sent by post
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) and must produce:
- Original educational certificates
- Domicile certificate
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Photo ID proof
- Passport-size photographs
Failure to appear for DV or produce valid documents will lead to cancellation of candidature.
