The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued Notification No. 004-BOPEE of 2026 dated 07 January 2026 regarding the conduct of the 2nd Round (Upgradation/Allotment) of Physical Counselling for admission to DNB (Post MBBS DNB/Post MBBS Diploma) Courses for Session 2025.
This round is being conducted to fill the shortfall and vacant seats in Government Medical Colleges, Associated/District Hospitals and Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Important Dates for 2nd Round DNB Counselling 2026
- Date of Counselling: 12 January 2026 (Monday)
- Time of Registration: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Eligible Ranks: Rank 01 to 57
- Venue: JKBOPEE Office, Jammu / Srinagar
All eligible candidates listed in Annexure-A of Notification No. 204-BOPEE of 2025 dated 13.12.2025 are required to report physically for participation.

Documents Required for Physical Counselling
Candidates must report in person with the following documents in original:
- Domicile Certificate
- NOC issued by the Health & Medical Education Department
- NEET-PG 2025 Score Card
- MBBS Degree / PG Diploma Certificate
Counselling Fee
- Counselling Fee: ₹2000/-
- Payment to be made through POS Machines available at BOPEE offices via Debit/Credit Card
- Candidates who already paid the counselling fee during the 1st Round are exempted from payment in this round

If a candidate is unable to attend counselling personally due to unavoidable circumstances, a close blood relative may attend on their behalf. The authorized person must submit:
- Authorization letter on the prescribed BOPEE format
- Identity Card
- Aadhaar Card
Failure to produce these documents will result in disqualification from counselling at the candidate’s own risk.
Seat Matrix Information
The tentative list of seats available for this round will be uploaded on the official website www.jkbopee.gov.in one day prior to the counselling date, enabling candidates to make an informed decision.
