JKSSB Constable (Telecommunication) Document Verification

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an important notification regarding the Document Verification (DV) of candidates who fall under the consideration zone for the post of Constable (Telecommunication) in the Home Department, advertised through Notification No. 01 of 2024, Item No. 03.

Candidates who have qualified the written examination and subsequently the PST/PET are now required to appear for Document Verification as per the schedule mentioned in Annexure A of the official notification.

Candidates must bring the original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies.

Bonafide Certificate (for degrees outside UT of J&K) issued by Controller/Registrar
Equivalence Certificate (if claiming equivalent qualification)
Affidavit for Ex-Servicemen category confirming non-usage of ESM benefit earlier
SPO Certificate (minimum 3 years engagement)
VHG Certificate (minimum 3 years engagement)

Important Category-Specific Requirements

Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Category

Must submit an affidavit (attested by 1st Class Magistrate) declaring they have not availed ESM benefit earlier for any post.
If later found false, candidature will be cancelled without notice, and legal action will follow.

SPO Category

Must produce a certificate proving minimum three years of engagement, certified by the concerned Zonal/Wing Head.

VHG (Village Guard/Home Guard) Category

Must produce a certificate proving minimum three years of engagement, certified by the concerned Zonal/Wing Head.

Candidates Who Fail to Appear

Candidates who do not appear before the DV Committee on their scheduled date will forfeit their right to selection.
No representation will be accepted later.
