Srinagar, Dec 12: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has approved the grant of Selection Grade (Non-Functional) to seven officers of the J&K Private Secretaries to Head of Departments (Gazetted) Service. The order was issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) under Government Order No. 1893-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated 12.12.2025.
According to the official communication, the officers have been placed in Level 10A (₹56,600 – 1,79,800) with effect from the dates mentioned against each name.
The officers who have been accorded the Selection Grade include:
- Lakshman Kumar Sharma – w.e.f 23.04.2024
- Sheikh Mohammad Latief – w.e.f 11.10.2024 till his retirement on 30.04.2025
- Hamid Ahmad Tramboo – w.e.f 21.11.2024
- Rajesh Kumar – w.e.f 17.03.2025
- Soma Kumar – w.e.f 17.03.2025
- Anjali Raina – w.e.f 01.05.2025
- Sanjay Kumar – w.e.f 14.08.2025
The order further notes that the grant of the Selection Grade will be subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before courts of competent jurisdiction.
The decision was issued “by order of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.”
