The authorities have sanctioned Meritorious Scholarships from the Central Police Welfare Fund in favour of the wards of serving police personnel who secured 80 per cent and above marks in the Class XII Annual Examination during the Academic Session 2024–25.
The scholarship has been granted in accordance with Rule 3(d)(i) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Welfare Fund Rules (6th Edition, 2018). The approval was issued vide Order No. PHQ-WS0SCH(S-PPyl)/2025 dated 11 December 2025.
Officials stated that the incentive aims to encourage academic excellence among the children of police personnel and provide financial support for higher education. The scholarship will be disbursed after verification of service and academic records of the beneficiaries.
