The University of Kashmir has issued a circular directing all affiliated private colleges to initiate the recruitment process for teaching faculty against vacant posts at the earliest.
According to the circular, the directive applies to Private Nursing, Allied Healthcare (Paramedical), Oriental Law, Engineering, IT, Management, and Unani Medical Colleges affiliated with the University. The institutions have been asked to begin the recruitment process by or before the first week of January 2026, ensuring that the entire selection process is completed during the winter vacation.
The University has further instructed that applications of eligible candidates, along with all requisite documents related to the selection process, must be submitted to the office of the Dean, College Development Council (CDC) for scrutiny and record.

The move aims to ensure timely availability of qualified faculty in affiliated colleges and smooth academic functioning in the upcoming academic session.
College authorities have been advised to strictly adhere to the instructions and timelines laid down by the University.
