IGNOU Admission 2026 notification has been officially released by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the January 2026 session. Candidates seeking admission to UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and Online/ODL programmes can now apply online through the IGNOU Samarth Portal. The last date to apply is 31 January 2026.

IGNOU is a central government university and one of the largest open universities in the world, offering flexible and affordable education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online mode. Admission is mostly based on merit, and no entrance examination is required for most programmes except B.Ed, PhD, and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
