The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially invited online applications for the post of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) in the Home Department of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. A total of 83 posts have been referred to JKSSB by the Home Department for direct recruitment. These positions belong to the UT Cadre, meaning candidates from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir (holding a valid domicile certificate) can apply.

JKSSB SI Telecom Age Limit (as of 01 January 2025)
The age criteria vary slightly depending on the category. Here is the allowable age range:

JKSSB SI Telecom Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of three major stages, followed by a medical examination:

| Objective-type exam with Multiple Choice Questions. Medium of exam: English only. Negative marking: ¼ mark will be deducted for every wrong response. |

| 2. Physical Standard Test (PST) |

| Candidates who qualify the written exam (shortlisted at 6x category-wise vacancies) must meet the following physical standards: For Female Candidates Height: 5’2” Relaxation: Candidates belonging to the Gorkha Community or the Bot Tribe will get a height relaxation of 2 inches. |
